A reminder 思い出させるもの

On this day, I would like to congratulate all those who graduated and all those who will graduate...

Don't forget that, because you will be asked about what you did with the knowledge you acquired.

Update: It was brought to my attention that this post can be misunderstood, so a clarification is in order. See comment #5. I also made the caption bigger in the picture, because some might have missed it.

Is this pic for congratulations!?

What a bad taste...

How pompous of you to say that, anonymous.

Then again, from the blogs you visit you seem to have a good taste, so you must be right..

Clarification:

This post was intended to get [what I think is an] important message across. Mixing graduation greetings with the atomic bomb mushroom cloud might have resulted in a feeling of irony or disorientation, and that was intentional. It was not meant to belittle or make fun of the atomic bombings of Japan.

If you know me a little you'll understand that this is not the case, if you know me better, you know that I am both serious and passionate about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I wanted to commemorate the bombings in my blog and while I was doing research online on the 9th. When I saw this picture of the mushroom cloud over Nagasaki, I remembered an idea for an illustration I had many years ago, which was intended for new graduates to remind them of their responsibility. SO, I made the poster/picture with the message on its lower left. Then I posted it as a commemoration to the A-bombs and a reminder to all graduates.

I'm original like that.

I really like when people are expressing their opinion and thought. So I like the way you are writing
